I haven't seen Lotus say that you can use Designer 6 and run on Notes without problems. They have put a lot of work into making it possible (and that by itself is rare. Many IDE's would not allow any backward compatibility at all), but I don't see any loud claim of backward compatibility. What I do see is lots of posts from individuals recommending against it. I am not trying to be confrontational, but I really don't know where Lotus/IBM claims this. I think it is an assumption, not a stated claim.
